Fiona is a chartered occupational psychologist with over 12 years’ experience working in large, global, complex organisations. Her natural curiosity about different cultures and ways of working has led her to work in a variety of sectors including media, professional services and charity sectors. As a consultant, her recent client assignments have included financial services, engineering, software development and FMCG. She has experience working in Europe, the US and Africa.
With a solid understanding of psychological theories and concepts, coupled with a pragmatic approach to applying these in the ‘real world’, Fiona’s experience spans the design and delivery of leadership, talent and management development programmes, as well as change initiatives, team development and coaching. Everything she does is both creative and practical in style, with a focus on the underlying psychology of organisations and individuals at work. Her areas of expertise include; leadership, team development, change, emotional intelligence, and resilience.
A skilled facilitator, Fiona creates a safe environment where people are both supported and challenged. Clients appreciate her energy, expertise and ability to engage audiences at different levels of experience and sceptical-ness!
Fiona completed a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology at The University of Aberdeen and went on to specialise in occupational psychology completing an MSc in Occupational Psychology at the University of Nottingham. She continued her development achieving Chartered Psychologist status and Associate Fellow membership of the British Psychological Society. Fiona is accredited in a number of psychometric tools including Wave, MBTI, Hogan suite, Emotional Intelligence Profile (EIP), Team Management Profile (TMP), and OPQ. She has also completed a coaching accreditation which is ICF and EMCC recognised.
