Andrew recently joined the Represent team as a Senior Consultant, specialising in leadership development, employee engagement and one to one coaching. Andrew is an Accredited Executive Coach with 20 years’ commercial experience and a founder member of the Coaching Community at the Oxford University’s Said Business School.
Andrew has worked with a wide range of organisations across the public and private sectors. Some are highly specialized, for example nuclear, professional services and law, others include construction, logistics and manufacturing. For these clients he facilitates senior executive teams facing conflict or challenge, he delivers leadership development programmes and runs employee engagement workshops.
Andrew’s passion is development. Recognising that development is at the heart of performance he finds himself working one-to-one with senior executives on leadership, with teams who are increasing their ability to make change happen or with groups of front line leaders trying to improve impact. In employee engagement Andrew has undertaken research into what engages teams and how companies can become an employer of choice. That research gives him an insight into how employees think and what motivates them to go the extra mile.
Alongside coaching and leadership development Andrew is asked to contribute to studies on a variety of topics. Most recently Gambling in Professional Sport, the Impact of Transition on Professional Sportsmen and Creating a Safety Culture within large infrastructure programmes. Each year he is trusted to oversee the vote for PCA Professional Cricketer of the Year.
Andrew continues to study and develop his skills in coaching, mentoring and facilitation. He is currently studying for a Masters qualification in coaching and a level 7 ILM Certificate in Coaching and Leadership mentoring. Andrew has an Honours and Masters Degree in Electronic Engineering.
