Alison joined Represent as a Senior Consultant in 2013, specialising in leadership development and one to one coaching. Alison is an Ashridge Accredited Business, Career and Executive Coach with 26 years’ commercial experience. She achieved high levels of operational success at John Lewis before specialising in management & leadership training and coaching 17 years ago.
Alison’s extensive practical experience, combined with her theoretical studies, helps her really understand both the challenges and opportunities that clients face. Alison is energetic and personable. She swiftly builds rapport with individuals and teams, creating a climate of trust and support in which it is possible to raise clients’ self- awareness and challenge or stretch their thinking. Her pragmatic approach and sound organisational skills bring appropriate structure to her coaching and training, to support clients in achieving their business goals.
Alison finds it rewarding to work with people at all levels, from newly appointed managers through to Senior Leaders. She has worked with clients from a variety of industries/ sectors, including: Banks & Financial Services; Law; Charity; Customer Service; Education; Marketing; Retail including all of its support functions; Sales and the Motor Industry.
Committed to her own continued professional development, Alison has an MSc in Executive Coaching and is a qualified MBTI and SDI practitioner. She is a full member of the Association for Coaching (MAC) and co-author of “Behind Closed Doors: Stories from the Coaching Room 2016”, Libri Publishing.
