>> Coaching with Represent
Executive
Coaching
Senior people are busy people and the traditional development route
does not always fit in with their hectic schedules, or even with
their own personal or business needs. Enter the executive coach
who listens and challenges, who helps to create thinking space,
allowing them to examine key issues and release their own creativity.
Our coaches
challenge current thinking, to help individuals make sense of themselves
or situations, support them to expand their boundaries and truly
innovate, resulting in personal and business growth.
Executive coaching
is only effective when there is the appropriate match between the
individuals. In our experience it is important to achieve the following:
| |
 |
A verbal
contract on working together |
| |
|
Clearly
defined measurements |
| |
|
Credibility
with the coachee |
| |
|
Managed
expectations |
| |
|
Added value
from the time spent |
| |
|
Mutual
trust and agreement on confidentiality |
Represent only
use coaches who have been in operational positions and therefore
understand and build credibility quickly, providing practical rather
just theoretical insights to different approaches.
360
Feedback Coaching
Represent have worked successfully with organisations to provide
360-feedback coaching. Our approach is to help the individual understand
the key messages from the report, working from their agenda to produce
a detailed action plan. We will provide the following:
| |
 |
Constructive
challenge |
| |
|
Independent
view |
| |
|
Encourage
the individual to share their plan with their line manager |
| |
|
Consistent
approach |
| |
|
Ensure
the individual has ownership for their development |
Coaching
Workshops
Coaching to support people undergoing leadership or business development
is particularly successful. We have delivered coaching skills workshops
for a number of organisations who needed to introduce a coaching
culture within their management population. By developing key coaches
at very senior levels to coach and support middle managers has enabled
these organisations to put new skills, behaviours and business models
into practice back in the workplace. An example of a coaching skills
